Fees & Insurance

Regular Rates & Payment

Session fees are due at the time of your appointment unless alternate arrangements have been made. I accept payments via check or credit card (through Simple Practice Payment).

Reduced Fee
I understand that financial situations vary, and I offer reduced fees based on your circumstances. If I’m unable to meet your financial needs, I will gladly refer you to another provider.

Insurance
I am considered an out-of-network provider. I can supply you with an itemized super bill for submission to your insurance company. When you contact your insurer, you may wish to ask:

Good Faith Estimate

Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, patients who are not using insurance have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of the total expected cost for non-emergency services. This written estimate should be provided at least one business day before your service. If the final bill exceeds the estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute the charge. Please retain a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records. For further information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments

Consistent attendance is key to making progress in therapy. If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-shows may incur a late cancellation/no-show fee, and note that insurance companies do not reimburse for missed appointments.
